It's been a while since I looked at one, but I believe it is a SSID specific
setting -- In other words you set in the WLC under the specific SSID you are
configuring the security / authentication settings and any client joining
that SSID is subjected to that authentication. Of course this is totally
from memory of doing it over a year ago -- I always found the WLC config
guide actually very useful, check that out as well.
