I second that. Rather than creating aliases, practice to gain speed
when typing. I'd say it is more imporant to:
- master using "do ..." from configuration mode
- master gathering data for TCL scripts (i.e. IPv4 and IPv6 addresses)
- master using TCL scripts for ping (and don't bother doing on one
router to ping from all, rather do the same script for all routers)
and creating/evoking macros for Catalyst switches (using do ping)
- pratice using notepad to create configs and paste it all at once
(including pasting a TCL script)
Not as time savers but as usefull tools, learn to:
- draw your L2 and L3 topology with all relevant info
- create a track sheet for tasks
This should be more than enough.
