Version 3.0 is the current version of CCIE lab. It will change to 4.0 after
Oct 18th.

In my lab, the version numbers show the same as the do in the doc cd:

R2>sho ip eigrp nei det

IP-EIGRP neighbors for process 1
H Address Interface Hold Uptime SRTT RTO Q
Seq (sec) (ms) Cnt Num
0 162.17.96.1 Se0/1/0 13 00:00:15 2 200 0 3
Version 12.4/1.2, Retrans: 0, Retries: 0, Prefixes: 1

As mentioned, my two routers show the same version info as the docs. I am
running 12.4(15)T4 and 12.4(9)T7 for these two particular routers. What
version code are you running?
