Re: Lo0 in EIGRP and OSPF

Building on what Rick said about full reachability... sometimes we get
things in labs that want full reachability but do not specify where to put a
loopback interface. Read things VERY carefully. If you are sure you are
not being given any direction, I would simply ask the proctor "I know I need
full reachability, and I see I have a loopback here. Where would you like
to see it advertised?" If you still can't get anywhere, if it happens to be
on an OSPF router with a direct connection to area 0 I think that is always
a good choice. If not, redistribute connected and calling a route-map to
match exactly what you want like Rick said is a good way to go as well.
