Yeah, I was surprised too. I like the finality of kron though, whatever you say goes.

Just as a side note, did you check the output of show kron schedule vs. the router time. It chooses a seemingly random second to issue the command, not the first second or the last of the minute, kinda odd.

I would definaltely like to try if this is unconditional reload or not .

But as far as Kron is concerned .. it simply works ....

Step 1

 kron policy-list TEST
cli reload

Step 2

kron occurrence TEST at 12:14 oneshot
policy-list TEST

Router will reload at 12:14 ....
