Things r quite difficult here in Pakistan, there is not much recognition for
prof. certs back here.... Its all about experience over here. Ive been
working at NOC of a Technologically rich ISP for last 3 yrz, n during all
this time ive invested everything (money, time n all) only on Prof certs, ive
earned a CCNA,CCNP,CCIP n CCIE Written ( n some Juniper certs) n still i m
sitting at the same position n salary (approx) as i was 3 yrz back....no one
leaves the job n therefore noone gets promoted... nowadays i m preparing for
the lab n still investing day n nite to the hardwork.... and with all the
lost hopes that have been given to me in this mail, wud i stay back here
once im done with my lab?? Its really hard to c management n pmo guys
getting 50 to 100 % increment while WE getting 15 to 25 % increment with the
words : Ur lucky to even get 25% looking at the economy ....
