Ospfv2,
Did you ever mention how old you are? I'll be 33 next week. During my studies my wife took a bullet for me with 2 kids under 5. I was a real PIA to deal with and basically a ghost. I know it can be discouraging at times, but it's hard to explain the high you'll get once you're done.
On a completely different note, a lot of people have complained about the new CCIE plaque and I thought it to be a little blah myself. Last Friday, my wife came by my office and decided I should stop working in a techno pack rat cave, so she moved some stuff around. She put my plaque on the window and the outside ambient light made a pretty cool effect.

Putting a recessed light box behind your plaque really makes it pop. Anyone else have a Cisco soda can, I'm pretty sure it's turned to poison by now, but it's still good for a geeky conversation piece.
