Hello once more!

Sorry I did not address your first question.

Each of the three sections of the Version 4 exam must be passed in
order to achieve your CCIE. Fail to achieve the required points for
any one section, and the entire exam is failed. Currently 3 out of 4
Core Knowledge questions must be passed in order to solve that
section, and we expect that to continue. In order to pass the
Troubleshooting section, you must solve the required number of Trouble
Tickets presented. Finally, in the Configuration section, a minimum
number of points will be noted that a candidate must achieve.

Since you are not provided any feedback after any section, be sure to
remain 100% confident when leaving a section for another section. I
have had reports of students looking up their Core Knowledge Section
questions in the DOC-CD once starting the Configuration section. Ouch!
I recommend not wasting one millisecond of time thinking about a
previous section as you are completing the lab exam.

Warmest Regards,

Anthony J. Sequeira, CCIE #15626
