What if you do not know the burst size?

Would you use:

normal burst = configured rate * (1 byte)/(8 bits) * 1.5 seconds

police 200000 300000 [exceed-action {*drop* | *policed-dscp-transmit*}]

Is there an easy way to memorize the formula's used in QOS?
