HDLC overhead show in mrtg

Hi All,

If we draw mrtg graphs of a serial interface, will it show total traffic
including HDLC overhead?

the problem is, i have 20Mbps satellite link, but the maximum through put on
my serial interface shows 19Mbps. the provider told me that it is due to HDLC
overhead. My point is, if its HDLC overhead, still graph shows 20Mbps
including HDLC overhead.
