Actually, I think you answered your own dilemma. It's an open-ended
question meaning that you can answer it in any way. So, you could have
written that you don't really remember that particular detail, but if
you were faced with it, you would look it up in section X of the DOC
CD. You could also answer other relevant things surrounding the
technology...
