But, who is supporting CAPWAP on their wireless AP now?
Just for reference, Aruba released a technical brief document here:

And an extract from the document:
"It is the opinion of Aruba Networks that at the time of this writing in
March 2009, no wireless LAN vendor has implemented CAPWAP as defined in
RFC5415. Any vendor who claims to support CAPWAP is using proprietary
extensions to the protocol that make it non-interoperable with any other
vendor claiming to support CAPWAP. It is also Arubas opinion that any
vendor who did support RFC5415 and only RFC5415 as its control and
management protocol would not be competitive in the market due to lack of
functionality"
Perhaps we need to see CAPWAP to evolve significantly before seeing
interoperability of wireless controller and AP between vendors.
