Kelvin,
I agree with Scott, reading RFCs can be helpful on Sunday nights (especially
when you can't sleep......JK) but we should be looking at the behavior of
the protocol as its implemented on Cisco routers, and you can clearly see
the behavior is consistent with what was explained, i don't think that you
will see this behavior clearly explained in the RFC or any book or work book
for that manner (As far as i know), but when you configure it on the routers
you will clearly see the behavior. I use the redistribution in my
explanation because that is what i see in behavior, but please feel free to
use any word that turns you on, but my job as an instructor is to
expose some of the behaviors of these protocols on Cisco routers and give
you guys something extra, and NOT refer you to the RFC (BTW, it was not a
cheap shoot at Scott).
BTW, Ladies/Gents,
The rest of the video will be available within the next two days, and the
price will be $50, i did that on purpose so students can purchase the
specific section that they are looking for. In each Video i will cover
everything i know, i will NOT hold back an inch, i do not play those
games.
