My personal preference is to use real hardware, but I think most
people use dynamips to study for SP.
I've borrowed a couple of 7200 NPE-225s from work and picked up some
ATM bits and pieces from eBay. That was all I needed to "SP'ify" my
existing lab.
You don't need beefy 7200s to form part of an SP lab. If you prefer
using real kit, keep an eye out on eBay for cheap 7200s with old NPEs.
