None of security measures are enough if the man having the control and
authority of the test centre wants to compromise it.
Who will be running the test centres? Will they not be run by the local test
centre owners? Are they going to be special and new kind of centres and not
where the written exams are done? If later is the case then it's not going
to happen anytime soon and will need huge investment.
Otherwise I don't see any reason why any of the security measures mentioned
in your blog are enough to safeguard the integrity of the exam. Frisking a
person and keeping the ID on table doesnt secure any exam.
Cisco already has fingerprints,signature, digital photographs, 2 IDs in
place for rest of the non-lab (written) exams in place. Did that make the
exams less vulnerable? If it did I would have been happier doing CCNP rather
than investing huge sum on money and thousands of hours and my personal life
in pursuing CCIE.
