OT: map proxy on ITP config

i know that it's not a typical GS post but i have some troubles at
work with this,
i'm trying to config a map proxy agent working on a cisco ITP,

at the moment, the map ua is listening at tcp port 9000 with smpp, but
my requests did not get forwarded to the adjacent HLR,
it is configured like this:

cs7 mapua imsi smpp 9000
 local-ip xxx.xxxx.xxx.xxx
 client dynamic
 map-source-addr digits 123456789
 get-imsi include-msc

requests are coming from the client, but they go in timeout on the ITP.
i'm not able to determine whre these requests are forwarded and why
they go in timeout.
