LSA Type 4

Experts,

I do understand that LSA Type 4 is injected by ABR into a normal area. My
challenge is describing what LSA Type 4 really is.

I have heard of the two explanations below and to me they sound different,

1. LSA Type 4 is a summary of Type 5.
2. LSA Type 4 is an inter area LSA describing who the ASBR(s) in the OSPF
domain are.

Or is it just the language ( English is my second language)?
