Eigrp Query Scope

Hi All,

 I was trying to understand various query scope limiting options in
EIGRP.During that process I was able to understand couple of options like
summarization and stub router.While using "Command Memorizer" tool for Lab
configuration preperation,I found mentioning about using different EIGRP AS
as one of the options.Also it mentions about that the "query scope extend to
neighboring AS by 1 hop".I am trying to understand the menaing of the
same.Any help on making me understand the same would be really appreciated.
