I wish I knew. I'm the worst at keeping notes over a period of time. I've
got more information overload than my brain and all of my hard drives can
handle.

Some of people use Treepad.

Some people also use mindmaps.

I recall a couple of other recommendations.

Sharepoint would be nice too.

Microsoft has some other products to help.

I use email accounts to help manage the tons of emails I get from
everywhere. But again if I ever get hit by a golfball... I might forget
which accounts or associated with what and what info I might expect to find
in each.

Surely someone has a better answer.

I do keep simple outlines and and folders with related topics and files.
Simple but it helps me stay a little sane.
