There is no "inner truth" with ASET labs. They are not real labs if that's
what you wanted to know. I am sorry if I misinterpret.
ASET labs gives you an idea on how CISCO frames the question but again
people who have faced the real thing say that ASET labs are worded more
leniently or user friendly.
The biggest advantage with ASET labs is to get a feel of what the real lab
can be like and a feel of how CISCO grading scripts work and what they look
for.
It'a more of a gauge on where you stand with respect to lab difficulty level
probably same or a little less than the actual exam.
Even if you don't have access to the ASET labs you can go for MOCK labs from
venors like INE or IP. It's in my opinion a good idea to see how you perform
when your lab is clocked and also how someone else is grading your
configurations.
There is no key to the real thing to be honest. All comes down to how well
prepared you are. Though many succesfull candidates have done ASET labs but
I am sure there are more succesfull candidates out there who have not taken
the ASET labs prior to exam.
So, idea is to make sure you have prepared well and don't leave holes in any
of the blueprint topics. Get some mock labs doen before the exam probably in
the last month and see how you perform.
