Agreed. My enterprise company network at my job before last had 200 WAN sites on MPLS through Sprint worldwide...it is not just for SP anymore...of course we only had RO access on the CE routers but don't you just hate not knowing "how it ticks" ?

It's kind of arrived really. My latest contract is service provider. Plenty
MPLS going on there. But the enterprises are using it now even if it's for
'Cloud Computing'.

Good old Hutnik and Saterlee. Their book had a couple of examples in there
back in 2001. My IOS wouldn't run it.

Academic at the time.

Not now. You better know how to do this stuff. After all a CCIE can do
anything right? :)

You can be sure the CCNP or even CCNA working in the SP environment knows
the score so time to cover this stuff ;)

  Well....
No matter where you go the chances are that you will see MPLS, so if you
know MPLS you are a better and more knowledgeable person.
Remember when we had 2 switches? people did not focus on switching that
much, now that we have 4 switches, everyone is focusing on switching. I think
as they add more stuff to the CCIE R&S, we are going to see a better caliber
of CCIEs.

How can you say that? You haven't seen it yet Narbik.
But I think I 'know' what you mean.

count me in & lets suffer together
         hahaha...

who let the dogs out ?..woof....woof...woof.....sorry, meant to say
Guinea Pigs (GP), but was'nt sure what sound they
make.....squeak....squeak....(sounds more like the poor GPs being
         squashed....)

         Let's get to work....:

         1) I was trying to figure-out the scope of 'what-else' &
'how-different' things are going to be ?
(Yes, I did go thru the limited res on the web)

1a) H/W changes --what do these 1841's mean to us ? (in terms of
    difference)

         2) Which portions get carried over from 3.0 ?

         That's it from me.

         Best,
         -Abi
(The barking Guinea Pigs).....how does that sound ?
