Intriguing! I can't explain this, based on my fairly basic knowledge
of how SPAN *really* works under the hood.

What are you using to capture the mirrored data? How are you
extracting the voice payload and reconstructing the audio stream?

My initial reaction is that this won't be a SPAN problem, but I'm
looking forward to hearing what the solution was.
