I bet the SE's are willing to do more for their gold partners though :) I had to go to a regional SE before I got any scheduling complete, my local SE thought I was speaking Greek.

Sorry, you are right. No need to be a gold partner, "normal partner" would
be fine and the SE has to "sponsor it":

Hmmm, in my case it was a very easy shot, just had to talk to my Cisco SE as
written on the "ASET page" (and you need to be gold partner) and I got
access, was very easy.

Even if you do work for a partner prepare to have to talk to 10 different
people at Cisco and still maybe not get anywhere.

You will get free rack time for the ASET LABS over Cisco. This is included
when you do the ASET labs, you will not only get the labs, also the rack
time is available.

Ask your Cisco SE, he has to setup/schedule the session for you and prompt
you access for the ASET program.
