You need to use Pins 1,2 4&5 (please double check). You can make a T1 loop
back cable, for testing use encapsulation PPP on both routers and test
locally if your interface comes up and you see (looped). Test on both
routers and then connect the cross over cable and if configuration is right
then it should work.
