I am going to need a bit more information from each router, such as:
* show controller SLOT/PORT
* show interface SLOT/PORT
Some simple things to consider, E1 RJ45 is not the same as Ethernet
RJ45, the pin outs are different. Now this does not make a difference
when you are connecting to a provider and can use a straight through
cable. It does present itself, however when you back to back E1 cards
you need to put a cross in the TX and RX pairs - which is not the same
as a crossover Ethernet cable. The other simple thing is clocking, one
end will need to generate the clock, and the other set to receive the
clock from line. As they are T1/E1 modules, you will also need to select
the mode of operation - this is performed under global configuration mode.
