WCCP redirect in or out ?

Hello Group ,

got this short question..
I have an old tech document for netmasters, they say redirect in or out
doesn't depend on location of the server but its to do routing 1st or redirect
1st...is that true ?
I'm doing IE LAB8 and they did redirect out on the serial ( the web servers
were on the other side of the frame relay )
