MFR

I encountered a task on a practice lab that gave me difficulty today. It was
MFR. I could not get the interfaces to come up even with the given solutions.
I admit I only had one physical link between the routers. Yes I realise that
MFR is for more than one link but constraints on the home lab..

Will it just not work if there are not multiple links or is there some process
involved to light it up properly? Not a big deal, I think I understand it but
still..
