heheheh... Once upon a time I decided I was going to teach myself perl
(as I'd done with quickbasic, turbo pascal and C++ many moons ago). I
bought a few books, and got about half way though one of them and
decided "F#*$ this" :)

PERL (like GREP which brings us regular expressions) was created by Satan.
