From a reading perspective, I would recommend the information in the latest
BCMSN book. It is really good and very well written. Also, I heard there
is a new version of Cisco LAN switching but I can't personally speak for it,
as I only have the outdated old version. I would also read the information
on switching and frame in the CCIE r/s exam cert guide.
Maybe it is just me, but sometimes the docCD by itself is a bit more
confusing than a good book. Don't get me wrong, the docCD information is
awesome and an invaluable tool. Just my 2 cents.
