IP Packet fwd in MPLS enviornmenet

Hi All,

I have a basic querry , request you to please help me with that -

Q : -

In MPLS Forwarding plane -

when IPV4 packet comes from CE to PE ,
Then PE does what things at the ingress point -

based on my understanding process step wise is

1) It recieves packet in vrf interface
2) It does cef lookup for DESTINATION NETWORK
3) Via this CEF lookup for DESTINATION NETWORK it comes to know VPN label
4) It assign VPN label to packet
5) then it does BGP next hop lookup , to know bgp nexthop
6) then CEF lookup to asssign MPLS label for BGP next hop
