Hi Ed,

You can you as L2 or L3.

For L2: you can use 'vlan database' to configure the VTP domain and VLAN's.
For L3: You can either use SVI or say 'no switchport' on interface to make
it L3.

All my routers in my dynagen lab are 3725 some of them with NM-16ESW, you
can use each port as L2 or L3, recall you must create the vlan using vlan
database method.
