Disable proxy arp with alias

Hi Guys,

These line are from Doc CD.

"If you use the *alias* command to configure DNS Rewrite, proxy ARP will be
performed for the mapped address. To prevent this, disable Proxy ARP by
entering the *sysopt noproxyarp *command after entering the *alias* command.
"

What potential problems could occur if I do not disable proxy arp when using
alias command? Is it always required to disable proxy arp?
