Try restarting the daemon manager. You don't say what platform you're
on (Windows or Solaris)

on Solaris: /etc/init.d/dmgtd stop; /etc/init.d/dmgtd start
on Windows: restart the "CiscoWorks Daemon Manager" service

(disclaimer: above instructions are from my hazy memory)

If you want to decipher the various CiscoWorks log files to figure out
what actually happened, sorry, but you need to have an honours degree
in quantum physics for that.
