RE: CCIE Security booklist

Definitely read the Cisco ASA, FWSM handbook by Hucaby.

It's a must read to get the finer details of a lot of the filtering, inspection, and such.

It does not cover sslvpn, ipsec vpn, etc.

For that we have your book listed below.

Hi all,

Since my hands are shaking to start a new track :-) I would like to
start my preparation for CCIE Security.
I searched around also in GS archives and found some possible books
that I want to read to prepare for both Written and Lab.

Here is my list so far:

- Network Security Technologies and Solutions (CCIE Professional
Development Series) - Yusuf Bhaji
- Cisco ASA: All-in-One Firewall, IPS, and VPN Adaptive Security
Appliance - Omar Santos
- IPSec VPN Design - Bijay Bollapragada
- CCBOOTCAMP CCIE Security Written Guide

The above list I want to get in printed form. Could you please add
recommendations for reading, which ones are absolute necessary to read
cover to cover and other ones who are adviced which I can read on
Safari Books Online which I also have a Library subscription on.
