No, it means that each lab varies somewhat. Although there's a basic
structure to it, it's just open to variation.

So while I can easily tell that you'll get between 0 and 50 points of
QoS, that leaves a heck of a margin for change. :) But that has
nothing to do with how it's graded.

You are graded by results. So no matter how pretty your configuration
looks, if it doesn't work, then it doesn't count! That's part of what
makes the L2/L3 stuff so darn important! If an L2 link doesn't work,
then it's not possible for the OSPF, BGP, multicast, qos, whatever to
work on top of it!

Functional grading. But I suppose that makes it "floating" because each
lab will be different. The details anyway.

But it's a well standardized and well reviewed process.
