Bobby,
Sorry to hear that you ran into a couple stumbling blocks - it's tough when
you take a step back to see how much time, money, resources have gone into
this study path, but also keep in mind that when you've invested so much
already, you have good incentive to keep going and make sure that investment
pays off down the road.

I don't know anything about your study technique, but I would say that going
through the same labs (unchanged) over and over is great for developing
accuracy at solving exactly those problems worded exactly that way - nothing
wrong with improving speed; however, the problem is once you get really good
at those labs, what is one more time going to do to improve your lab
chances. The next step is to take the labs and start changing things
around, adding your own tasks to what has been provided. If the lab tells
you to do it one way, start to think of other ways to handle the same task.

For all I know, you were doing this too - but, if not, it's probably a good
thing to add to your study plans until the next lab date.

You said that you felt really comfortable with your performance during the
lab itself; what are your thoughts on reflection now that you've seen your
score report. Can you look back and see where you might have missed points
and refine your study to either a) those knowledge area or b) those test
taking techniques that could help you get those points next time.

Anyway you look at it, if you are still feeling low about these two tests,
take 2 weeks off to spend with yourself and/or your family and then get back
on the horse so you don't lose your momentum. Sometimes your brain really
does need some time off. Good luck!

Michael
