filtering logs from kiwi

hello group .. i have a doubt about syslog server .. till now i have been
filtering all of my labs work in kiwi syslog server .. in real time how do
people interpret debug messages ? is there any other software which
seperates logs and presents them in per ip base .. also good http base tool
would be great . i heard about websense but havent tested .. how do you
maintain logs and make reports of them ?
