As the virtual links are logical ospf proccess links that connect's to
area 0 there is no other place other then under the proccess itself to
place virtual-links configuration!
so if you suspect that that is somthing that cant be done I would go
to the proctor and explain and I guess that if you will present it
correctly showing that you understand the material he will tell you
that it will be fine to set only the virtual link auth under the proc
(in his own way).
