OSPF advertise

Hi,
 How to advertise the ip into OSPF without network command ?

example
i can use redistribution in route map or without route map just i can give
connected ..

in route-map

i can use acl or interface for matching

is there anything else we can do apart from above points.

please let me know ... which one is better among those..
