hmmm should have known that. Wasn't really aware of the term
channelized :-P
It's true I also work a lot with sonet/sdh stuff, but not from a L1/L2
perspective, to me it's just another interface :-)
Currently working with a customer who is removing all sonet from the
network and replacing with 10GigE.

So no there is no sonet/sdh now in the lab blueprint and since
ethernet is taking over the world I don't see it ever getting in the
SP lab. (it is a bit in the written though)
