VLAN ID range 1 to 4094 (OR) 0 to 4095

Hi Experts,

One question comes into my mind regarding about VLAN ID range.
I've read in most of the books and online documentation including Cisco
website.
VLAN ID Range is 1 to 4094.
Today, I turn CCNP BCMSN Fourth Edition and found that
VLANID values from 0 to 4095, but VLANs 0,1 and 4095 are reserved.

What if, Open Ended Question ask "What is VLAN ID range?"
The answer is 1 to 4094 or 0 to 4095 ??
