Sameer,
Let me give you a more complete answer (from someone who failed once).
1) is it the lab is really confusing?
No. It's doable if you know your stuff. Although I failed mine, I know I
could have passed it. It was very reasonable.
2) is it under preparation?
Yes, always ;-)
3) is it the lab is really difficult?
Really difficult? No. Difficult enough to make you freak out. It's all in
the preparation.
4) is it the lab is 101% unrealistic?
Depends on your definition of unrealistic. Unrealistic in passing? Evidently
not. Unrealistic in its setup, design, and questioning in light of the real
world? Yes, to a large extent.
5) is it poor understanding of protocol mixture/technology?
Yes, in a lot of occasions (including mine). My conclusion is that there are
no minor topics (like Security or Qos, etc). Three points is three points,
regardless which technology, regardless whether it takes a page of
configuration (like BGP confeds) or a single line (like IP SLA).
6) is it the lab wording is unclear and vague?
Sometimes, not always. The better you understand the technologies the more
sense the wording makes.
7) is it pressure?
Wasn't for me. Although there was a natural stress, or the familiar "I want
to pass on the first attempt" type of pressure, most pressure could come
from time constraints. Aim to have complete L2/L3 connectivity by lunch
time, reload, lunch, test, and finish the rest. This worked for me fine. I
felt no time pressure as such.
8) is it because of time and not complexity?
You mean if 8 hours is enough? Yes. If not, you are not ready to pass. Time
and complexity are combining factors. If you think the lab is complex you
will probably run out of time. :-)
9) is it because of complexity?
To an extent. It's build layer upon layer. It's not the individual
technologies which is the problem, but the combining of all of them.

Marc
