8 hours (7.5 now that we have OEQ's). is plenty of time to do the lab.

Structure your approach. Test everything AS YOU GO. This is like
pre-emptive troubleshooting, and will give you insight to how they may
grade things... Always be thinking "how could I test this?".

As for how much before lunch, many people say IGPs and into BGP, but of
course that will greatly depend on how your lab is structured! If you
have a ton of L2 stuff, you may not be anywhere close to that marker and
it would make perfect sense. :)

IMHO, if you have a section (v3) about troubleshooting, do it first.
Less to think about later. Less to make you paranoid when something
else doesn't work. Less to solve one of your OWN problems thinking it
was one of theirs and therefore missing something.

Planning, planning, planning. that's what it's all about!
