Hello and good morning,

Hummm ... what does that ACL do? Security or group definition ... a mix of
the two? ;-)

IMHO, mcast is a hard subject to read about. Much easier to learn by
reading and doing at the same time ... I would suggest you lab these up and
then try the appropriate show commands on another router running PIM. What
affect do these commands have on down stream routers?

Nice thing is, that the docs are very accurate and very helpful. In some
cases you can copy and paste (with minor edits). This ability to copy and
paste can make your lab testing much easier ... also helps you look up
things and understand how and what the lab is asking for. Here is a link to
the mcast section:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/ipmulti/configuration/guide/12_4/imc_12_4_book.html

For my web browser, I keep this as my home page:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6350/products_installation_and_configuration_guides_list.html

You can get to this from the product support ... in any case, would be good
to be familiar and of course the mcast config section is there.
