For many devices the password recovery or ymodem recovery docs have some
good info in them. You may choose to search for these. Once you are in
rommon you can get out of it fairly easy (assuming you have a good image on
the flash). Here is a link to the password recovery, not as helpful to what
you are asking for, but does give some insight for how to navigate within
rommon.
