Looks like you have an issue with the cable.
Are u using octal cables on a 2511? Try another one, which you are sure is
working.

  Hi,

I'm having some problem connecting to my switch through the console
server...I'm not sure why I get into this state, just wondering if
anyone
else has encountered this problem before? (this has happened to me
before)

I'm trying to get into Sw3, which is on port 2009. As you can see,
even
after clearing the connection, I'm not able to console into the
switch.
Also, I know that the switch is up since I can see it as a cdp
neighbor to
  my other switches.

Is there something wrong with my console server conifg?
