Hi Sergei,

Whenever the traffic is multicast destinated, RPF check will be done.

When You use Auto-RP, cRP will be advertised to 224.0.1.39. MA on receiving
this Mcast advertisement will perform RPF check on the source.

MA will advertise the RP mapping to 224.0.1.40. Clients on receiving this
Mcat adv, will perform RPF.

When you use BSR, cRP will be unicasted to BSR router and so no RPF
involved.
