Absolutely, totally agree I would say every small Cisco Silver/Gold partner
(just meeting those requirements on the number) has to do this to some
degree. Throw in Microsoft, HP, EMC in the mix as well.

And some vendors will grandfather you in if you have a big enough deal on
the table, though these are almost always the ones trying to increase their
market share.
