I kinda labbed it up..
wht i found out is...
distribute-list prefix DENY_3 gateway NOT_FROM_R3 in
this command will DENY all the 3.0.0.0/8 routes from any gateway AND accept
only updates from gateways permitted in the prefix-list specified with teh
gateway keyword.
