Re: CCDP after CCIE

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I was wondering about a similar scenario..

- CCNP with old BSCI 642-801 exam (CCNP current but 642-801 expired)
- CCIP exams QoS and BGP passed (both current exam versions)

With CCIE R&S, if I pass MPLS, can I get a waiver or something to
attain CCIP? Or do I need to sit a current BSCI exam?

I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, since I'm not yet a CCIE, but it
would be nice to only have to pass the MPLS exam (which is a topic of
interest anyway) to pick up CCIP. I might lose motivation if I have to
go and re-sit BSCI. On the other hand, hopefully after CCIE R&S, BSCI
would be a walk in the park. I remember it being reasonably tough when
I took it all those years ago, but it's all relative.

When the time comes, I'll open a case with the Certifications Support
folks. I expect I'll need to sit BSCI again, but you never know..

cheers,
Dale
